This letter opener was made by Dad. He also made pokers suing the same technique of putting washers on a metal bar and then fashioning them into squares.

I like letter openers! Unfortunately though, most envelopes that arrive today only contain bills...
ReplyDeleteI have a liking for letter openers and had quite forgotten about that one. Do you have any of the pokers? I was reminded of them when I wrote the post about Dooley and sculptures a short while ago.
ReplyDeleteNo, I don't know what happened to the pokers. They probably went after gas fires came in.
