Post card from Hawkshead

This postcard was sent by Mum and Dad to Nana and Grandpa during one of their visits to the Lake District – possibly on their honeymoon.


The Lake District weather was obviously on its usual form!

M G Midget

GB has had a fair number of cars over the years but this is my favourite of them - his M G Midget. I recall the first ride I had in it. We drove out to Freshfield and had a walk along the Fisherman's Path. This photo was presumably taken by Dad - the location is Renville Road.
